Kristen Doute is setting the record straight in regard to her plans to leave Los Angeles with her fiancé, Luke Broderick, and their one-year-old daughter, Kaia.

While also denying that she was MAGA after being confronted by a fan on social media, the 43-year-old cast member of The Valley and former star of Vanderpump Rules clarified that she had not promised Luke, 35, that they’d move to Colorado and revealed where they were actually planning to relocate.

“Kristen promised Luke Broderick that they would move back to Colorado after a few years in LA. He took her word for it, she trusted that he would fall in love with LA in that time. We are seeing the fallout in real time,” a fan alleged on Threads.

But according to Kristen, she and Luke never had plans to move to Colorado.

“We were never moving to Colorado and Luke is from Indiana, [by the way],” she replied.

Kristen then explained, “Our plan has always been to move before our baby was of school age (this was before we got pregnant with Kaia). We want to be closer to family. Our families live in the midwest, where we are from – that’s why Nashville is ideal and on the table. Luke has a house and acres in Colorado that we love but we were never going to live there permanently.

“Any other questions?” she added.

Another person asked, “Can you confirm the reports you’ve gone full MAGA and donated allegedly to a third term for [President Donald Trump]?”

“Talk about f*cking rage bait bullsh*t,” she replied.

As The Valley fans may have seen, Luke has been facing backlash in recent weeks due to his behavior when Kristen was postpartum.

During last week’s episode of the reunion, after Andy Cohen, 58, revealed that he had refused to appear on Watch What Happens Live with Kristen, Kristen suggested that Luke didn’t want to come because he wouldn’t enjoy New York City with her and their daughter.

“He said, ‘I want to go to dinner, and I want to enjoy New York, and I can’t enjoy New York if you and Kaia come,’” she shared.

Then, after Luke explained that he simply didn’t want to throw off Kaia’s sleep schedule because he felt that it would be “miserable,” and that he and Kristen wouldn’t be able to do fun things, he admitted that the two of them sometimes “need space.”

He then suggested that he didn’t realize that he had hurt Kristen’s feelings as much as he did.

“Well, you laugh it off, and you didn’t come to me in a serious way that it hurt your feelings,” he explained.

“I make light of a lot of things because we have a baby and I have to be good for her, but that was really tough,” Kristen replied.

Meanwhile, on social media, fans suggested Luke “wants a child and wife but doesn’t want to be a dad and husband,” and they accused him of hating both Kristen and their daughter.

“I hope she leaves him,” wrote someone else.

The Valley season three reunion concludes on Wednesday, August 19, at 8/7c on Bravo.
