Allie Eklund is weighing in on the alleged rumor that Steven McBee Jr.‘s sister-in-law, Alli McBee, the wife of his brother Jesse McBee, started about his supposedly “inappropriate” relationship with his brother Cole McBee‘s now-wife, Kacie Adkison.
After it was suggested that Steven, 33, was “spending too much time around” Kacie, Allie, 29, admitted that what she heard about the supposed relationship was “pretty shocking,” as Steven offered an update on where the family stands today.
“It wasn’t the first. But that one was really confusing to me,” Allie told Decider of the rumor on August 10. “It’s not my place to speak on what that rumor was, but it’s still, it’s still pretty shocking what was said, and I don’t see Alli as a dramatic person. I was called directly about the rumor and I, Alli doesn’t just pull things out of her a** like you saw me say on the episode. I’ll say that.”
After being asked to mediate, Allie said she “had questions.”
“That was my genuine reaction. I was learning about everything going on in real time, just like the audience was, and to this day, that rumor’s still pretty confusing to me, and it’s pretty layered, too,” she noted.

Meanwhile, speaking to Bravo Insider on July 27, Steven confirmed he’d “had conversations with Alli.”
“I love her to death … She’s a sister to me and has been since high school. Literally since sophomore year of high school, she’s been a sister to me,” he explained, adding that he felt that what Alli said about him and Kacie “came out of a place of hurt and a little bit of jealousy.”
“I do spend more time with Cole and Kacie,” he revealed. “Alli’s seeing me post Blair and Kacie on social media, or she’s seeing how much time I spend with them. And there’s a little bit of hurt there. Obviously, her and Jesse were not in the best place from a marriage standpoint, so that contributes to it. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes that added to why she felt that way and why she said that.”
Luckily, the family is “completely good at this point.”
“There is no animosity whatsoever,” Steven confirmed.
As for the moment in which he and Cole discussed the matter, Steven said the two of them knew there was not a “hint of truth.”
“We know that Alli’s saying this out of a place of hurt and feeling a bit jealous. So, it didn’t have anything to affect us as brothers, for sure,” he shared.
On the McBee Dynasty episode in which the rumor was mentioned, fans saw Steven proclaim that he would no longer be speaking to Kacie without his brother present, which his now-ex-girlfriend, Allie, disagreed with due to the fact that they were starting a tallow skin care business.
“The fact that you can’t have a conversation with your sister-in-law face to face, and you’re gonna be business partners with her, that’s f*cking weird, I’m just gonna be honest,” she told him.
