An arrest warrant has been filed against Nathan Gallagher following his alleged assault against his ex-girlfriend, Gael Cameron.
According to a new report, the 28-year-old Below Deck Mediterranean star reportedly fled Australia ahead of a court hearing he was supposed to attend on Tuesday, during which he was expected to appear in front of Local Court Judge Janine Lacy to discuss choking and assault charges.
“We believe the defendant is offshore at this time,” Prosecutor Sergeant Aruzza told the court, per the Daily Mail, as they recommended the use of the Crimes Act, which would allow a warrant to be placed against Nathan in his absence.
According to the judge, immigration records confirmed Nathan, who parted ways with his legal counsel in the last few weeks, was “currently overseas,” and he was convicted in his absence.

While Gael, 30, the mother of Nathan’s one-year-old son, Kayden, did appear in court, she did not issue a statement outside of the hearing. She was, however, expected to submit evidence during the hearing.
As Bravo fans may have heard, Gael was not initially named as Nathan’s alleged victim. However, her age fit the bill, and she was granted an Apprehended Violence Order against him following the reported crime.
After being granted bail last year, Nathan was required not to make contact with Gael Cameron and to refrain from drinking alcohol or taking any drugs, but he wasn’t ordered to surrender his passport.
Nathan is also facing assault claims in his home country of Ireland due to an alleged assault in 2022.
In a statement responding to the allegations against him, Nathan, who has pleaded not guilty, said it was not “fair” that only one side of the story was told.
“I don’t believe the public has heard the full story surrounding what happened,” he told Rolling Stone. “I understand [New South Wales] Police have confirmed my arrest in December 2025. What has been publicly reported, however, represents only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation.”
“I have contemporaneous video footage from the night in question, as well as messages and other records, which I believe provide important context and show events that have not been publicly reported,” he continued. “I am willing to provide the relevant footage so that you can make your own assessment of what it shows.”
As for Nathan’s future on Below Deck: Mediterranean, an insider told The U.S. Sun last month that he was not cut from the currently airing 11th season since the case against him had not yet played out.
“But they do not condone the behavior of the charges made against him,” the source explained of Bravo, noting that season 11 was filmed before Nathan was arrested.
Regarding season 12, Nathan will reportedly “not be” seen.
“They’re all on a year-by-year and per-season basis. If they get picked up for another season, great. But if not, it’s not like this big dramatic firing thing. In Nathan’s case though, looks like that ship has sailed – pun intended. It seems likely he won’t be back,” the insider added.
