Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Annemarie Wiley obtained a three-year restraining order against her estranged husband, Marcellus Wiley, and was awarded sole custody of their three kids on Wednesday.

Months after Marcellus, 51, was arrested for domestic battery against Annemarie, 42, who proceeded to file for divorce, alleging years of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, which the former NFL player denied, they both appeared in court, where a judge ordered that Marcellus, who was accused of threatening to kill Annemarie, must stay 100 yards away from her and their children.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ on September 10, Marcellus is now restricted to supervised visits with their kids, son Marcellus Jr., 10, and daughters Ariya, 7, and Alivia, 6, and will see them just twice during the week and once on the weekend. He will also be able to attend their extracurricular activities, but must remain 20 yards away.

Once Marcellus completes a series of court-ordered domestic violence classes, he will be allowed to see the children without supervision and will meet with Annemarie to discuss increasing the time he has with them, potentially to overnight visits.

Although no financial decisions were made at the couple’s recent hearing, a judge did recommend co-parenting counseling sessions.

Meanwhile, an additional report from the California Post confirmed that Annemarie “has met the burden of proof by preponderance of the evidence” in court on Wednesday and shared a statement Marcellus gave to them.

“I’m grateful for the court’s decision and welcome the opportunity for our family to finally begin healing after an incredibly difficult and trying time,” he said. “From the beginning, my fight has been about being present in my children’s lives, loving them, supporting them, and being their father every day.

“I’m thankful I get to return to that role. Annemarie deserves the space to protect her peace, our children deserve the love and presence of both parents, and our family deserves the opportunity to move forward without conflict defining us. My hope now is simple: healing, peace, and getting our family back to a place where love leads the way,” he added.

In Annemarie’s divorce filing in July, she claimed, “Marcellus has subjected me to a continuing and escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control, and intimidation, much of which our children have witnessed.”

Annemarie Wiley and her family were featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13.
