Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City who have been hungry are definitely getting fed this week.
First, the new season of RHONY premiered on Bravo on Tuesday.
Now, the trailer for the new E! show The Golden Life, which features many of the RHONY OGs, has been released.
“Being together, I feel comfortable enough to party,” Sonja Morgan says at the beginning of the trailer for the show, which also stars Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, and Kelly Bensimon.
We then see an airplane flying into what one can assume is Palm Beach, Florida, where the show will take place.
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is the countess speaking,” Luann, 61, characteristically says over footage of the plane. “Buckle up for landing.”
We then see all of the women together in a car, and she says that “the ladies of New York have arrived.”
Sonja, 62, is then heard saying that “for the next couple of months, we’re taking our golden years to a golden place.”
The trailer then goes on to show each of the women, and, in true Ramona, 69, form, she notes that she has “no stress and that’s why I look as good as I do.”
“People go, ‘Alright, what did you do? I did nothing,” she adds, referring to plastic surgery procedures.
While the trailer shows many comical moments, including one where Sonja says she “went to burp and threw up a little” and asks Luann if she can “smell it” on her breath, there is also a good deal of drama.
“I moved to Palm Beach to have peace, and you’re blowing up my zen,” Sonja declares in a group setting.
Then, Ramona is seen saying someone, presumably Sonja, is “lashing out” as she cries.
“There’s something wrong here,” she adds.
Keeping with the drama, Dorinda, 61, tells someone they “live in the past,” Ramona is seen yelling at someone on the phone to “not lie,” insisting she hates “liars,” and Dorinda is seen saying “Game f*cking on.”
Kelly, 58, surprisingly brings up her former archenemy Bethenny Frankel, seemingly reciting what someone had said to her in a fight on the new series.
“Bethenny was right about you,” she says to herself in a car. “You’re a nobody. You’re an idiot. You’re stupid.”
Sonja also takes a massive dig at Luann that seems to be about her former husband Tom D’Agostino, telling her that he was “just ready to marry anyone.”
“Oh, thanks, Sonja,” Luann sarcastically responds. “Thank you, Sonja. That’s really lovely of you.”
The trailer, unsurprisingly, shows the women flirting with men, laughing, partying, and having a good time.
Overall, it seems like fans of the original RHONY will have a lot to look forward to when The Golden Life premieres October 20 at 10 p.m. on E! with a special 90-minute episode.
