Tom Sandoval is open to joining the cast of The Valley on the heels of the exits of Danny, 42, and Nia Booko, 36.
During a couple of new interviews, the 44-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum revealed which cast members he was close to, offered an update on his friendship with Tom Schwartz, 43, and revealed he was taking a break from dating after his messy split from Victoria Lee Robinson, 34, while also admitting to having “lots” of thoughts about the drama between Jax Taylor, 47, and Brittany Cartwright, 37.
“I mean, I think I would be open to [joining The Valley],” Sandoval told Us Weekly on September 12. “I think I’d be open to it.”
As fans will recall, Danny and Nia announced their departure from the show earlier this month.
“We wanted to share a quick update that we will not be returning to The Valley,” they wrote in a joint statement on Instagram. “We’re incredibly grateful for this experience but our priority is protecting our peace and our family.”
“We are fully committed to each other and our beautiful children,” they continued. “We want to thank everyone for all the love and support you’ve shown us. Thank you to Bravo and the team for everything. We are looking forward to what the next chapter brings.”
Sandoval then confirmed he was friends with several cast members.
“I would say [Zack Wickham], [Jesse Lally], [Janet and Jason Caperna], [Luke Broderick], Schwartz — obviously — [and Jasmine Goode],” he shared. “I’m cool with all of them. You just don’t see me around a lot because, at this point, you know, I like my privacy.”
Speaking of Schwartz, specifically, Sandoval said the two of them were doing “great” despite their past tension over their business failures.
“Me and Schwartz are doing great. I just hung out with him and [his girlfriend Kiana Carroll] this past weekend. It was great. They came to my house, I made them cocktails [and] we had a great time,” he revealed.
Sandoval also spoke of potentially joining The Valley during an interview with TMZ, stating, “I think that might be kind of cool actually. I think I’d be into it.”
Moving on to his status post-split, Sandoval said he was “doing great” and “happy to reconnect with [his] friends,” including Schwartz, who “mean so much to [him].” He added that he was taking a break from dating after his restraining order drama with Victoria.
As for the restraining order drama between Jax and Brittany, Sandoval said that while he had “lots” of thoughts about the couple, he would “keep them to [himself].”
Looking ahead to his future, Sandoval confirmed he was still working with his band, Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras, and he would be appearing on a new survival show coming out on Netflix next year.
“Spoiler alert: I didn’t have any survival skills,” he teased.
