Kyle Cooke reacted to the news of West Wilson‘s addition to the cast of Netflix’s Million Dollar Secret with a shady dig on Threads.
After it was announced that West, 31, would be featured on the upcoming third season of the competition series alongside celebrities including podcaster Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, 27, Selling Sunset cast member Christine Quinn, 37, and actor David Arquette, 55, Kyle poked fun at his former castmate — who is also the current boyfriend of his estranged wife, Amanda Batula, 35.
“Million dollar mistake,” Kyle, 44, wrote on Threads on September 24.
As Summer House fans well know, Kyle and Amanda confirmed their separation in January of this year, and two months later, Amanda and West went public with their own romance, which cost them not only their friendship with Kyle, but also Ciara Miller, 30, who had previously been a close friend of Amanda’s and a love interest of West’s.
Additionally, both West and Amanda were left out of production on the 11th season of Summer House, which began filming in July and wrapped earlier this month.
Although West was seen briefly on In the City, Million Dollar Secret will mark his first full-time role since Summer House season 10.
“[Million Dollar Secret] brings together a group of strangers, in this case celebrity contestants, who must outwit their competition and identify the recipient of a million dollars hiding among them. Sequestered in a lavish mansion, in each of their rooms is a mysterious welcome gift — a box. The majority of them are empty, and one contains $1,000,000, and it’s for that guest to keep — as long as they keep their identity hidden,” Deadline detailed on September 23, noting that Peter Serafinowicz, 54, would host the show.
West will also be joined on season three by Adam Rippon, 36, Adam Scherr, 43, Braun Strowman, 43, Bridget Everett, 54, Chelley Bissainthe, 29, Chloe Veitch, 27, Chris Redd, 41, Dom Gabriel, 33, Melora Hardin, 59, and Phoebe Robinson, 41.
Million Dollar Secret will begin streaming on Netflix sometime in 2027.
