Heather Dubrow reacted to Alexis Bellino shading her as “feckless” after Thursday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
As Shannon Beador, 62, reacted to the conversation Tamra Judge, 59, had with Alexis, 49, prior to allowing her and her husband (and Shannon’s ex-boyfriend), John Janssen, 63, to attend her Vena launch party, Heather, 57, explained what made her so “activated” as she explained what led to her and Alexis’ falling out.
“[Alexis] lost her sh*t,” Tamra recalled on the October 8 episode of the RHOC: After Show.
“That was your fault, by the way,” Heather replied.
After noting that Alexis was “really nervous about coming” to her event, Tamra recalled their lunch date.
“I had lunch with her maybe two days prior, and I said, ‘Listen, I don’t want any problems. Shannon’s gonna be there,’ and she’s like, ‘I don’t want any problems either,’” Tamra shared.
But at the event, problems quickly arose as Heather accused Alexis of giving her a “look,” which prompted Tamra to confront Alexis.
“And she did not take that well,” Heather noted.
According to Heather, Alexis came to her after her alleged “look” and suggested she was insecure.
“The first couple of things she said to me were in the spirit of, ‘you’re so insecure.’ That’s what she led with. So that activated me,” Heather explained as Tamra said she’d “never seen [Heather] go at it with somebody like [she] went at it with [Alexis].”
Heather then recalled where their “ridiculous” feud began, signaling an appearance she made on Watch What Happens Live, where a fan asked her if she’d be attending Alexis and John’s wedding.
“They said, ‘Are you going to the wedding?’ I said, ‘I can’t, because it’s parent weekend,’ but then I should’ve shut up,” Heather shared.
On the episode in question, Heather had continued on about the wedding invitation, describing it as “complicated,” as she noted that she wasn’t friends with Alexis and John “as a couple.”
“I shouldn’t have said it, and it was like a thing, and I really would never do anything to intentionally hurt her, but the most time I spent with John was with Shannon,” she explained, signaling Shannon’s three-year relationship with John. “So that was my relationship. It hurt her feelings. I get that, but I thought we had texted each other and I thought we were gonna work it out.”
While Heather assumed she and Alexis would “be okay,” Alexis went on to shade her as “feckless” on Two Ts in a Pod.
“[She] said I lacked character … How is that me? I am the opposite of feckless,” Heather stated.
After noting that she was “sad” that it felt as if Alexis used the moment for “press” and “a light on herself,” Heather said that she didn’t know her drama with Alexis would go so sideways at Tamra’s event.
“When we were at your party, and we went outside, I thought I was gonna be like, ‘Listen, I thought you gave me a look; if you didn’t, it’s fine. Come back in. Let’s be cool. Whatever,’” she said.
Also on the After Show, Shannon admitted she was pleasantly surprised to hear that Tamra had reached out to Alexis and given her a talking-to prior to allowing her to attend her event.
“It was a shocker … shocker beyond that Tamra had had a conversation with Alexis prior to that party and said, ‘If you’re gonna say anything disparaging or unkind about Shanon, you can’t come,’” she stated.
