Erin Lichy and Daisy Toye have reportedly found themselves on the outs with their Real Housewives of New York City castmates after targeting the marriages of both Jessel Taank and Erika Hammond amid season 16.
After Erin, 39, repeated a rumor suggesting Jessel’s husband, Pavit Randhawa, 46, was gay and engaging in sex acts at the gym, a couple of insiders have come forward, alleging that more marital drama will play out in the upcoming episodes as Erin and Daisy, 46, are accused of creating on-screen drama surrounding their co-stars’ marriages for the sake of ratings.
“It’s insane what people will see next and the lengths these two women go to as they attempt to destroy the marriages and reputations of their so-called friends,” an insider revealed to TMZ on October 19. “In order to cement their 15 minutes of fame, Daisy and Erin start going after the other women’s marriages. First they come for Jessel and Pavit, and then it’s on to Erika and [Ankur Jain]. Both spread false rumors on camera that are absurd and hateful.”
According to the insider, Carole Radziwill, 63, attempts to mediate between her castmates in an effort to resolve their issues, but Sai De Silva, 45, ultimately lashes out at both Erin and Daisy.
Although Daisy joined the RHONY cast as a friend of Sai last year, the source went on to say that Sai eventually reached her breaking point with Daisy’s “BS,” as another insider revealed that the women of the show were looking forward to hashing out their issues at the upcoming reunion taping.
It was also noted that producers were thrilled with the drama season 16 has brought.
As fans have seen, Erin and Jessel have been at odds for the past several episodes, mainly due to Erin’s comments about Pavit. And, in the October 20 episode, their drama continues with Jessel labeling Erin “ruthless” for “spreading [the] rumor” about Pavit’s sexuality, and Erin suggesting she hadn’t done a thing.
“I have not said a word about Jessel’s husband in f*cking three years,” Erin insists. “If she’s talking about a rumor that I heard three years ago that I told her in confidence, why would she even bring that out there?”
Erin then blames Sai for bringing up the rumor.
“I think Sai is 100 percent getting back at me because she thinks that I spoke about her divorce. So she’s exposing something that I told her in confidence about Jessel. And that is a terrible friend. That’s a friend that I want as far away from me as humanly possible,” Erin declares.
