Whitney Rose went on a rant against Lisa Barlow during Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
After the ladies were seen trying to make amends with one another during a girls’ night on the show, Whitney took to her Twitter page, where she threw shade at Lisa’s evolving claims about her friendship with Angie Harrington, insisted Lisa canceled Angie’s caterer, and slammed her for deflecting.
“Has anyone noticed that every time Lisa talks about her friendship with [Angie Harrington] she adds a year?? So now she met Angie when Angie was 14??” Whitney asked on October 10.
“She’s never been good at counting friendship years,” Heather Gay agreed.
“Last week she said it was 20 and now it’s 24?” a fan asked.
“Remind me who is the one that fabricates?” Whitney replied.
Although Lisa has insisted that she did not cancel Angie’s caterer for her LGBTQ+ event, Whitney agreed with a Bravo fan page, who slammed her as messy and said she actually did have the caterer canceled.
“Lisa Barlow is messy as hell. She actually got the caterer to cancel and shows up to the party saying, ‘Nothing worse than a party with no food,'” the fan page shared.
In response, Whitney posted the 100 percent emoji.
Someone else said that when it came to Lisa’s denials regarding the caterer drama, which was prompted when she was accused of canceling the food hosts in retaliation against Whitney and Angie’s friendship, she was deflecting.
“[Whitney Rose] stood her ground [and] spoke FACTS. [Lisa Barlow] deflected [and] made excuses. Not that I’m surprised,” the fan wrote.
“1000%,” Whitney replied.
Looking back at her drama with Lisa, Whitney said that her only problem with Lisa is Lisa’s problem with her before proclaiming that she no longer cares what anyone thinks of her.
“My only problem with Lisa is her problem with me. After a lot of self reflection and shadow work, I have realized that I have spent too much time caring what people think of me. I now only care what I think of me,” Whitney stated.
Another Twitter user pointed out that Mary Cosby seemed to hit the nail on the head when she suggested that Whitney was seeking validation from Lisa and wanted to be friends with her RHOSLC castmate at the time the episode was filmed.
“[100 percent] nailed it,” Whitney confirmed. “I worked through that limited belief and programming from my childhood. I no longer need or want that validation from her.”
