Kroy Biermann Asks Court to Protect Kids From Kim Zolciak as He Worries About RHOA Cameo, Plus She Accuses Him of “[Lying]” and “Mental Abuse”

Kroy Biermann is accusing his estranged wife, Kim Zolciak, of being abusive amid their divorce as he requests a guardian to protect the “best interests” of their four minor children in new court documents.

As the former Don’t Be Tardy couple continues to spew hurtful allegations at one another, including claims of drug use and a gambling habit, Kroy is suggesting that Kim has exposed their youngsters to behavior that is not beneficial for their “mental health and wellbeing” while also expressing concern over her upcoming cameo on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

According to a TMZ report on June 13, Kroy shared in his latest filing that he believes Kim, who previously accused him of drug use without proof, could draw more attention to their split and potentially tell mistruths to the public when she is seen on RHOA later this year.

Kroy also said Kim is not paying enough attention to their children, including Kroy “KJ” Jagger, 12, Kash, 10, and twins Kane and Kaia, 9, aside from when she allows them to gamble on her virtual account, and he noted that he fears she’s filming herself while driving with them in her car.

He even said he’s been handling the brunt of the responsibilities with the kids since they let their nannies and chefs go, but he acknowledged that Kim sometimes feeds them frozen pizzas and chicken fingers.

In response to the claims, however, Kim is fighting back, claiming it is Kroy who is “abusive.”

‘It’s really sad the way Kroy is causing our divorce to play out in the media like this because it could have a profound effect on our children in the long run,” read a statement from her lawyer, via PEOPLE. “To continuously spread lies in an attempt to paint Kim as an unfit mother for his own gain is harmful and incredibly misleading regarding Kim’s efforts to raise her children.”

“Kim has remained quiet through the divorce process thus far for the sake of the children, but with this most recent filing, she has no choice but to speak up,” the statement continued. “The emotional and mental abuse Kim has suffered from this man for so many years has taken a toll on her and, most heartbreakingly, their children. Kim has always been an extremely devoted mother to her children; they are her entire world, and she is always there to love and support them every step of the way. Kim looks forward to the day we can appear in court and solve these issues once and for all.”

Also in Kroy’s court documents, which were obtained by Page Six on June 13, the former NFL player said Kim has been “abusive” toward him with “little concern if the children are present” and said she’s jeopardized the “mental health and wellbeing” of their kids as he requested a guardian be appointed.

Kroy went on to say he wants a couple of people from a mediation group to investigate Kim’s behavior “immediately.”

“The divorce is far from amicable and continues to deteriorate,” he concluded.

Kroy’s documents were filed just after Sheree Whitfield said on Sunday night’s Watch What Happens Live that Kim wasn’t handling her split well.

“I’ve been in contact with her and she’s not doing well. She’s not doing well. She’s taking it really bad, really hard,” Sheree revealed.
