Farrah Abraham wasn’t in New York City when her co-stars, including Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell, reunited to film the reunion special for Teen Mom OG season seven but she will be seen when the season concludes.
According to a new report by Starcasm, Farrah sat down with reunion host Dr. Drew after being fired from the show during an episode last month. A photo from Farrah’s appearance is below.
Farrah Abraham returns for Teen Mom OG Reunion
Although it is not clear whether Farrah’s sit-down with the doctor will be featured tonight or during next week’s episode, MTV has confirmed that she did film for the special after being let go due to her involvement with the adult industry.
Last month, Teen Mom OG producer Morgan J. Freeman was seen informing Farrah that if she continued to promote herself as an adult star and participate in adult-themed projects, including her live webcam show, he would no longer be able to work with her. In turn, Farrah told her former boss that she had no plans to stop her adult career.
Following her firing, Farrah filed a $5 million lawsuit against Viacom, MTV’s parent company, and a number of other production companies, claiming she was wrongfully terminated after being bullied, disrespected, and sex-shamed. Weeks later, the lawsuit was settled.
Amber Portwood will also be featured on the reunion special, via Skype.
Although MTV has not yet confirmed who will replace Farrah on Teen Mom OG, if anyone, rumors have been swirling for weeks which suggest it will be former Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie McKee.
Weeks ago, Mackenzie addressed the reports.
“I actually cannot answer anything but everything is so up in the air right now,” she said during an appearance on Coffee Convos. “I woke up and read all these articles that I didn’t even know about. I know people saw on my Snapchat – cameras filming in the background and they were like, ‘Oh my gosh! So it’s true she is on OG.’ And I’m like, ‘No, this is for my mom’s special.’ But yeah, there’s a lot right now that I cannot answer.”
“I would absolutely love to be a part of the [MTV] family again, and it’s just kind of one of those things where it’s in God’s hands, and if it happens, it happens,” she added.
