And they said it wouldn’t last. Months after The Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk Jr. made his controversial decision to dump his original pick Becca Kufrin, so he could date his runner-up Lauren Burnham, the couple is still going strong.
In fact, the engaged couple just took a major step by buying a new home together. See pictures of their new purchase below!
In an interview with Us Weekly, Arie, 36, and Lauren, 26, revealed they just purchased a 2,607 square-feet home in Arizona.
“Buying a house is obviously another huge step in our relationship and we are excited to really make this our home,” said Arie, adding that “Lauren was completely overwhelmed.”
Ultimately, the two decided to settle on a brand new home after looking at over 70 properties. Wowzers. “It was built this year and we can’t wait to move in!” stated Arie.
Lauren, who moved from Virginia Beach to Phoenix to live with her fiance, shares that she is adjusting to the new state and has even began real estate school.
“Arizona has been a really easy adjustment for me as I’ve moved around my whole life,” said Lauren. “I’ve been making friends and trying to get settled in but we really haven’t been here all that long yet. It has been fun exploring the area and Arie is a really good tour guide, so that helps.”
And in doing some digging, we were able to find the home’s listing. The listed price for the 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home is $870,000 but the final sale price is unknown as the sale is still pending.
Described as a “modern farmhouse,” the home boasts a custom kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and an oversized master suite that provides 550+ sq/ft of space for a private spa like retreat.
