Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill have been at odds throughout season 10 of The Real Housewives of New York City and soon, they will come face to face for the taping of the reunion special.
Although Carole recently suggested to fans of her blog that she and Bethenny had made “peace” with one another after a dramatic several months, they are allegedly still at odds.
“They are definitely going to be laying it all out on the table at the reunion,” an insider told Us Weekly on June 20. “It’s not something they’re looking forward to, but they’ll both be ready and it should be ugly.”
Bethenny and Carole were quite close throughout the ninth season of The Real Housewives of New York City but when it comes to their future, the source said there is absolutely no chance that the two women will rekindle their friendship.
“The trust is gone between them,” the source explained. “They could coexist again, but not in the way they used to.”
At the end of last year, Bethenny raised millions of dollars for the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and months later, she hoped to have Carole’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Adam Kenworthy, join her mission. However, because the position didn’t pay, Adam declined.
While Bethenny spoke out against Adam for doing so, Carole defended him in her blog.
“Unlike Bethenny, Adam was 23 and dead broke when he created and ran an actual licensed charity. A not-for-profit that helped sustain a small farming community in Nicaragua. He fundraised and took money from his rent budget in order to keep the charity afloat. No five-star hotels, camera crews, or privates planes to jet in and out of disaster zones, but still he managed to do this and so much more,” she wrote. “When Harvey hit last summer, Bethenny was partying in Ibiza, I was taking care of a friend whose husband had passed away, and Adam was working hard commuting three hours between clients each day.”
“Get off my jock and if you’re going to come for me — you better not miss,” Carole added.
A new episode of RHONY airs tonight at 9/8c on Bravo. A preview clip is below.
