Briana DeJesus and Javi Marroquin were involved in a committed relationship up until February of this year but according to the Teen Mom 2 star, Javi’s new girlfriend, Lauren Comeau, is six months pregnant with his second child.
During a clip from a Teen Mom 2: After Show, Briana was seen sitting down with her sister, Brittany DeJesus, and the hosts of the show, Nessa Diab and E.J. Johnson, to discuss Javi’s proposal to her and his future with Lauren.
When a fan asked Briana if she thought Javi would propose to his new girlfriend since he proposed to her, she said, “Definitely, I would hope so.”
“She’s pregnant now, so why wouldn’t he?” she asked.
Javi proposed to Briana during filming on the eighth season of Teen Mom 2 after just months of dating. However, because the proposal wasn’t what Briana was hoping for, she declined. Then, just weeks later, it was revealed that his new girlfriend, Lauren, who he dated briefly last summer, was pregnant.
“I know she’s like six months pregnant,” Briana explained, immediately shocking the hosts.
“Six months already? He cheated on you?” Nessa asked.
“I don’t know the timeline, but supposedly, she’s like six months pregnant,” Briana replied.
“Did he cheat on you?” Nessa pressed.
“I’m 99 percent sure,” Briana said.
During Monday night’s show, Briana was seen telling all about Javi’s proposal during a conversation with one of her friends.
“It was just like ‘here,'” she said of the way in which Javi presented her with the ring. “He didn’t get down on one knee, it wasn’t romantic, there were no flowers or this and that. It wasn’t my ideal proposal, and I wasn’t going to accept the ring.”
“It’s not the right time, so I gave it back to him. He wants to marry me, he wants me to have his children, he wants me to move in with him. There’s a lot of stuff that he wants,” she continued.
Following the episode, Javi took to Twitter and seemingly denied that Briana had declined his proposal.
