Season Six of Married to Medicine is less than a month away! I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait. If you watched last season, you know that relationship drama plagued the cast, and based on the trailer, there’s plenty more where that came from.
As viewers will recall, Quad Webb-Lunceford and her husband, Dr. Gregory Lunceford, ended season five with a bombshell about Dr. Gregory’s near infidelity with an unknown woman in a hotel room, who later tried to blackmail him, and Quad was NOT having it! The couple has since filed for divorce, but their epic battles have will continue.
In the video trailer, posted below, Quad get rids of Dr. Greg’s belongings while he’s out of the house.
“I come home, my go*damn sleep number was missing,” Dr. Greg says.
But you can hardly blame Quad for being angry.
“I saw my husband last night dancing in the club with another woman in my mother f**king face,” Quad says tearfully. “Why would my husband do that to me?”
Meanwhile, divorce is off the table for Dr. Simone Whitmore, and her husband Cecil. Fans were shocked when Dr. Simone announced, during the season 5 reunion, that their 21 year marriage was kaput, but months later, she decided to give it one last try, and seek counseling.
However, the road to reconciliation is not always smooth.
“You went to dinner with another woman,” she tells him during a particularly heated scene, before walking away. “I can’t do it with you anymore.”
As for Dr. Jackie Walters and her husband, Curtis Berry, things appear to be looking up, after Curtis’s infidelity.  Their road to reconciliation played a large role in season 5, and this season viewers will see them trying to rebuild their trust, and find the perfect new home to share.
“I’m trying to get to 17 years (together),” Curtis jokes, as the two have dinner during one scene.
As for the other couples, we’ll see Toya Bush-Harris and her husband Eugene Harris celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, and rock solid couple, Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Dr. Damon Kimes, are still going strong, as well.
Season six will also see the return of Dr. Contessa Metcalf, who was new to the show last season, as well as fan favorite, Mariah Huq, who will be returning as a series regular for the first time since season 2.
Unfortunately, both women face health scares this season, but, as always, their friends are on hand to help them through the tough times.
“What are friends if they can’t help you carry your burden,” Dr. Simon says.
Married to Medicine season six will premiere Sunday, September 2 at 8/7c only on Bravo!
