After Shannon was seen slamming her estranged husband, David Beador, for suggesting she was a “crazy” alcoholic amid their divorce, Lesley called out Shannon for continuously trashing him on national television.
“Hate to go here but I am…… My kids & I have been shown nothing but love by David for almost a year. The man is so crazy kind and loving. He works his a*s off and does everything he can to provide and take care of everyone in his family.. he doesn’t deserve to be bashed on national television over and over again,” Lesley wrote on December 10.
“Children are involved and I couldn’t imagine bashing my children’s father ever,” Lesley continued. “My ex and I have our differences but after all, he is and always will be their father. Time to put egos to the side and move forward for everyone. children need a mom & dad. They shouldn’t have to pick sides or be put in the middle of adult conflict.“
David and Lesley began dating months after he and Shannon called it quits in October of last year. Since then, the couple has been enjoying one another’s company as they travel the globe and spend time as a family with their kids, including the three daughters David shares with Shannon and the two kids Lesley shares with her ex.
As followers of Lesley began flooding her with support, she continued to defend her man, telling one commenter that she couldn’t find anything bad to say about him after nearly one year of dating.
After receiving more supportive messages, Lesley thanked her kind followers and said kids should always be kept away from the sometimes dirty aspects of a split.
“Thanks! Not perfect and sometimes I second guess myself… but all I know is leave kids out of a divorce,” she wrote. “It’s a break up between the parents not a break up from kids.”
Although Lesley hasn’t shared any new posts on her Instagram page in regard to her thoughts about Shannon’s ongoing comments about her and David’s split, she seemingly slammed her further in a meme posted to her story page.
“It’s always easy to blame others. You can spend your entire life blaming the world but your success and failures are entirely your own responsibility,” Lesley’s message read.
