Lisa Vanderpump Skips Andy Cohen's Baby Shower to Avoid RHOBH Co-Stars

Lisa Vanderpump was absent during Andy Cohen‘s weekend baby shower and according to a new report, it wasn’t a scheduling conflict that kept her away.

Although some believed the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was missing from the event due to a prior commitment in Las Vegas, where she’s set to open her latest restaurant, the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesar’s Palace, it has since been reported that she skipped the event to avoid her co-stars.

“Lisa did have commitments related to her restaurant in Vegas, but she makes up her own schedule,” a source close to the reality star explained to Radar Online on January 28. “Although she adores Andy, she does not need the extra drama in her life that those women bring.”

“She really has nothing to say to any of them to be honest,” the insider added.

Lisa became estranged from her co-stars amid filming on season nine after a dispute involving a dog that was adopted by Dorit Kemsley from her animal rescue center in Los Angeles. As fans will recall, Dorit’s pup ended up at an animal shelter and because it was chipped, Lisa was immediately notified.

While it was later reported that Dorit had gifted the animal to another woman (who ultimately took the animal to a shelter) after it began acting aggressively towards her kids, Lisa was seemingly ousted by her co-stars after spreading mean rumors about Dorit and has not been seen with any of them for several months.

“Lisa distanced herself from all the drama and is living her best life now. She is focused on herself and the future and is not playing those catty games,” the insider said.

In other news related to Andy’s baby shower, Page Six is reporting that Andy reached out to The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Danielle Staub after learning she was snubbed from the event.

According to the report, Danielle, who is currently a ‘friend” on the RHONJ, did not receive an invitation to the event which was hosted by Kyle Richards.

However, after news of Danielle not being invited made its way to the press, Andy personally reached out to her and insisted Danielle attend the event. Even though Danielle is currently a “friend,” she was one of the original housewives on the RHONJ back when it debuted in 2009.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
