Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are officially homeowners.
While attending the Gasparilla International Film Festival in Tampa, Florida on Thursday, March 21, the Vanderpump Rules cast member, who was appearing alongside Lala Kent and his fiance, Brittany, revealed the exciting news of his home purchase to Reality Blurb and touched on a number of other issues, including why he’s “upset” with Tom Sandoval, plus his current relationship with James Kennedy.
When it comes to his exciting news about being a homeowner, Jax said that he and Brittany aren’t the only Vanderpump Rules cast members who have purchased their first home in the Valley. In fact, in addition to Tom and Ariana Madix, who purchased a $2 million home last month, Jax told us there are three other people who bought houses.

“I don’t want to give it away because it’s not my place. You know Tom Sandoval bought a place. You know I bought a house and three other people on our show besides those I’ve mentioned bought a house,” he teased.
According to Jax, his home is just one mile from Tom and Ariana’s place and another cast member, or cast members, bought a home one mile from there. That said, Jax and Brittany haven’t yet been inside of Tom and Ariana’s place which makes him a bit “upset.”
“I have not been there believe it or not. The only people that have been there so far is Billie and Jesse, oddly enough,” Jax revealed. “It’s kind of odd to me. You’d think you’d have your best friends over there first, right? I’m a little upset about that since he’s the best man at my wedding and I haven’t even seen his house yet. But we’re all really busy. I get it.”

While Jax has continued to butt heads with James Kennedy throughout the past few seasons of Vanderpump Rules, Jax told us on Thursday that he no longer hates his controversial co-star.
“I just feel bad for the kid,” he explained. “I think he has a lot of deep-rooted issues and he needs help. I feel more sorry for him rather than I don’t hate him. It takes too much work to hate somebody. I feel bad for him. He needs help.”
Jax has also had past issues with co-star Kristen Doute but told us that she wasn’t the woman he was referring to earlier this week when he claimed someone was lying about his time in the military and explained why he defended himself on Instagram.
“Somebody said I wasn’t in the military and that wasn’t true. I served in the military. I was in the navy,” Jax said. “I was stationed in Virginia Beach. I was in the military.”
At the end of last year, Jax spoke to Men’s Health about a number of life changes he’s made, including his decision to eat better, work out harder, and his use of marijuana, which is ongoing.
“I smoke a lot of weed… All the time,” he admitted. “It’s legal and you can fly with it now, too.”
