In her latest Bravo TV blog, before taking aim at LuAnn de Lesseps‘ “entitlement issues,” the Real Housewives of New York City star opened up about her up and down relationship with her now-ex-boyfriend, who reportedly kept her in a state of confusion during their years-long romance.
“Though I love Scott, dealing with his issues of privacy is difficult,” Tinsley wrote. “Perhaps I do appear to ‘walk on eggshells around him,’ and I am confused by his constant breakups out of the blue.”
During last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Tinsley was seen breaking down over her relationship with Scott and admitting that her then-boyfriend could be controlling at times. Meanwhile, Tinsley’s co-star, Bethenny Frankel, dared her to call Scott from their vacation in Florida and set a deadline for a proposal, which Tinsley declined to do.
“Calling him and putting him on blast in front of a bunch of hyenas giggling in the background would most decidedly NOT be a good idea!” Tinsley noted. “I would rather lose this ridiculous game of Truth or Dare than lose Scott.”
While Tinsley didn’t go through with Bethenny’s dare, she and Scott ultimately called it quits earlier this year and in her blog, Tinsley hinted that things between them would likely not last much longer.
“I have to figure a way to put this puzzle together successfully or I’m afraid this relationship is over,” she teased.
As for her thoughts on LuAnn’s behavior in The Berkshires, where she was unhappy with her room, Tinsley said she couldn’t get over her co-star’s selfish antics.
“Luann’s weird entitlement issues don’t appear to be over. Though I have known her for years and know she enjoys the Countess ‘thing,’ I’ve really never seen this degree of arrogance,” she wrote. “She seems unable to focus on anything other than herself and her needs.”
She did, however, praise Luann for being supportive when she opened up about the hardship of her late father’s alcoholism.
“I have to say, though, [Luann] really surprised me with her wisdom and kindness when I shared my feelings about my dad,” she added.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 11 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
