RHONY Star Tinsley Mortimer Breaks Down Over Relationship Drama with Scott Kluth, Calls Him 'Controlling'

Tinsley Mortimer and Scott Kluth‘s relationship appeared to be extremely strained during filming on the 11th season of The Real Housewives of New York City.

After the trailer featured a crying Tinsley telling her co-stars she was “miserable,” the socialite will be seen opening up about her relationship drama with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, who she expressed interest in marrying just one season ago.

“Tinsley, you can’t just be happy when it’s with his terms. It doesn’t work that way,” Bethenny tells her co-star in a sneak peek at tonight’s show.

“It does in his life,” Tinsley replies.

According to Tinsley, she doesn’t know what to do when it comes to her long-distance relationship with Scott, who spends a lot of his time in Chicago.

After Bethenny points out that Tinsley will never be happy living her life on Scott’s terms, Tinsley breaks down in tears and Bethenny apologizes.

“I’m sorry, I really didn’t know how sensitive it was or where the line is. I’m really, really sorry. I really didn’t know. I go through it myself. I did not really understand,” Bethenny explains. “You just don’t seem that happy. And you seem like your relationship is in a box.”

“He’s a very different person than everybody I’ve ever dated,” Tinsley says in an attempt to defend her relationship.

“But is he also controlling?” Bethenny asks.

“Yeah, he has controlling ways about him,” Tinsley admits.

“It’s a f**king juggling act and every day is a f**king new f**king headache,” she continues. “I love this guy. Okay? I don’t know what else to say.”

But Tinsley doesn’t seem to want to get out and tells Bethenny she’s “trying” to make things work with Scott.

“Then you have to be a strong woman and not let him drive,” Bethenny says.

While Tinsley and Scott have been known to break up and make up frequently in recent years, they have not been seen together since their latest split this past February.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 11 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
