Judges Grant Joe Giudice's Request to Leave ICE Custody and Head to Italy, When Will the RHONJ Star Leave the U.S.?

Joe Giudice is heading back to Italy after a pair of judges lifted the stay of removal order that was keeping him locked up at the Clinton County Correctional Facility, an immigration detention center in Pennsylvania.

After spending nearly seven months in ICE custody, which reportedly has “inhumane” conditions, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is preparing to travel to his native country as he awaits a final decision on his latest deportation appeal.

In court records obtained by E! News, it was revealed that the judges signed off on Joe’s request on Wednesday, October 2.

According to the report, Teresa Giudice‘s husband will need a travel document before he is able to make his way to Italy, but he already has a plan in place to make that happen. There has also been a location picked out for him.

As for whether or not Teresa and their four daughters, Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10, have plans to travel with Joe, that has not yet been confirmed.

A second report from Radar Online revealed Joe is planning to leave ICE custody as soon as possible.

“It’s over,” a source shared. “He will be leaving this week or next.”

“They broke him in there, and he can’t take it anymore,” the source added.

Following a September 11 court hearing, an insider told the outlet that Joe lost about 80 pounds while in ICE custody and that he looked “sickly, and sad.”

“It’s been horrible, and he doesn’t want to rot away there any longer,” a family insider shared.

Earlier this year, during the taping of the RHONJ season nine reunion, Teresa admitted that if Joe ends up in Italy permanently, she will end her marriage. However, at this point in time, no divorce documents have been filed and no official announcements have been made in regard to the couple’s future.

The next court date regarding Joe’s appeal is in November.
