According to a couple of new reports, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, who was released from an immigration detention center last Friday and immediately sent back to his native Italy, is done with Teresa and has the full support of his family as he prepares for their allegedly impending divorce.
“Joe wants a divorce,” an insider revealed to Radar Online on October 15. “He is so mad at Teresa for cheating while he was locked up and left to rot in prison.”
Although Teresa has denied cheating on her husband, she was spotted with her rumored boy toy, Blake Schreck, on a number of occasions earlier this year. During one outing in Miami, the supposed couple was caught holding hands.
“Joe is really mad at her for being so awful,” the source explained.
Following Joe’s exit from the U.S., his daughters, Gia, 18, and Milania, 14, posted tribute posts on their Instagram pages. Meanwhile, Teresa seemingly weighed in with a photo of the Statue of Liberty crying but failed to share any images of her husband.
“Joe told her not to post any pictures of him because he is so mad at her,” the insider said.
As for where the family stands with Joe’s reported decision to divorce Teresa, his family is said to be 100 percent behind him. In fact, according to a second Radar Online report, Joe’s mother and brother have told Joe that they do not want to see Teresa in Italy at all.
“They have talked to him about the cheating claims, and how she hasn’t respected him at all since he was locked up,” the insider explained. “Joe’s mom and brother have hammered him on his terrible relationship with his wife. They do not like Teresa at all, and they don’t think she should come to Italy when she hardly ever went to prison to see him.”
The insider also said that while Teresa is planning a trip to Italy with Bravo TV cameras to film a reunion scene with Joe in early November, Joe’s family is completely agains the idea.
While Teresa said earlier this year that she does not want to have a “long distance” relationship with her husband, the first insider claimed she’s since changed her tune because she “doesn’t want to give Joe any of the money she has worked so hard to earn while he was in prison.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 10 premieres on Wednesday, November 6 at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
