Do Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds have a prenup? A new report is revealing the answer to that question as Jim tells a fan they shouldn’t assume that the former Real Housewives of Orange County star will remain wealthy after their divorce.
While many have guessed that Meghan will be getting massive amounts of child and spousal support from the baseball legend following their controversial split last week, he suggested on Instagram on Tuesday that she would face money issues after their split as sources spoke out about their prenup.
“Meghan will never have to worry about money!!!!” a fan wrote on Instagram in the comments section of one of Jim’s photos.
“Yes she will,” Jim replied.

Although the terms of Meghan and Jim’s prenup have not been shared publicly, multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly that they did sign one before their October 2014 wedding.
Last Friday, after Meghan called the police on Jim following an argument over his allegedly inappropriate relationship with one of their nannies, Jim filed for divorce and left the home they share in Missouri. A short time later, Meghan suggested Jim was having an affair with the nanny by giving a thumbs up to a fan who accused Carly Wilson of being a homewrecker.
Following the insinuation of an affair, both Jim and the nanny spoke out on Instagram and denied any such thing.
“It’s one thing to be accused of something. It’s another thing to be so negligent and so careless, and ruin the lives of innocent young people. I did not sleep with our nanny,” Jim wrote on Monday. “For someone to accuse me of sleeping with her is not only wrong, it’s disgusting and irresponsible. We made a promise to that young girls mom, that we would take care of her and make sure that she was safe while she was in our hands. I will not sit here and take this bulls*t without fighting back.”
After Jim’s message was shared, Meghan took to her blog and admitted that while she is “uncertain” about whether or not Jim and Carly were intimate, she found their relationship to be “exceedingly inappropriate” and wondered why the two of them had lied about the time they spent together outside of their home.
