Meghan King Edmonds is opening up about the recent end of her five-year marriage to Jim Edmonds in an emotional blog post titled “Broken.”
As her husband continues to deny claims of cheating with their nanny, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star is admitting she isn’t certain that Jim slept with their nanny Carly Wilson, but she still slammed Jim for spending time with Carly and their other nannies behind her back. She also took aim at Jim’s family for isolating her and “reveling” over their split.
“I’m disgusted by what has surfaced in the media. I love my husband and I’m devastated that our marriage is being broken up in the ugliest and messiest way,” Meghan began in her October 29 post.
“I am sad that members of Jim’s family are reveling in our demise,” she continued, seemingly citing the recent comments from his daughter Hayley Edmonds (who is pictured above with Carly) regarding the family’s excitement over Jim’s decision to leave her.
According to Meghan, her family and friends rallied around her after Jim’s sexting affair was exposed in June and supported both her and Jim in their decision to stay together. Meanwhile, she alleged, Jim’s family isolated her and even blamed her for his infidelity.
“I didn’t even get a single message or phone call of support or concern regarding our brain-injured child,” Meghan revealed. “It was heartbreaking to realize that I did not have the love or support of Jim’s family – instead they were actively ignoring me or trying to further sabotage our marriage.”
Following Jim’s scandal in June, Meghan dedicated time and effort into repairing her marriage to Jim but said he didn’t do the same. In fact, instead of working on his marriage, Jim began “drinking and partying with much younger women,” including several of their nannies.
“I found this gallivanting inappropriate, immature, and downright odd,” she shared.

Although Jim’s daughter, Hayley, was present during a number of Jim’s outings with the younger women, Meghan grew suspicious due to his previous indiscretions. Then, when Jim began lying to her about where he was going and who he was going with after being caught at a hockey game with Carly earlier this month, she became further concerned.
“To be clear, I don’t know if Jim slept with our babysitter or whether they were just being exceedingly inappropriate by hanging out socially without either of them telling me (and Jim expressly lying to me about it). I’ve gone back and forth with my thoughts for a couple days but as I write this, I don’t think he did. But I still don’t understand why he’d lie. And why would she lie?” Meghan wondered.
After making it clear that she never actually made any allegation or accusation against Jim, Meghan told readers she was “broken” by the events that have transpired.
“I am saddest for the children. My step kids, Landon and Sutton, have lost a stepmother whom they love and will have to endure another divorce and broken home in their short lifetime. And my three babies who will likely never remember their parents being married,” wrote Meghan.
As for what Jim is saying, he’s denied having an affair with Carly and recently took to Instagram to explain why the two of them were caught attending a hockey game together.
“I didn’t take her to an event by myself. Get your facts straight,” he wrote on Monday, via Us Weekly. “I was with my best friend and his child. I was trying to do something nice for the girl who just had her boyfriend [dump] her.”
Jim then said Carly is “like a daughter to me” and that “all of this bullsh*t will not change that.”
