Did RHONJ's Dolores Catania Split From Boyfriend David Principe? She Confirms Their Current Relationship Status Amid Breakup Rumors

Are Dolores Catania and boyfriend Dr. David Principe still together?

After Dolores’ ex-husband Frank Catania was seen questioning David’s intentions as he prepared to put the final touches on the dream home they’ve been creating, Dolores appeared on Watch What Happens Live. While there, she confirmed their current relationship status to a curious caller who mentioned rumors of a split.

“I can confirm we have not [broken up],” Dolores told the caller on the WWHL: After Show. “He’s actually at home watching right now.”

“I’m sure he was not happy that I made him the Jackhole but it was all in good fun,” Andy Cohen replied.

“No, it’s okay. He sent Frank a middle finger emoji a few minutes ago,” Dolores laughed.

Andy named David as his Jackhole of the Day for hanging up on Dolores after she insulted the shirt he was wearing on the recent episode of the RHONJ.

Also during last night’s show, as the ladies enjoyed a girls’ trip to Jamaica, Frank sat down with David to discuss his future plans for his relationship with Dolores. However, as Frank continued to push the issue of commitment, David attempted to refocus his attention on the details of the home they were building, rather than his potential plans to propose marriage to Dolores.

As fans well know, Dolores has made it clear that she is not going to move into the home she and David have been building with Frank without a ring on her finger.

As for Dolores’ thoughts on Frank’s interference in her romance with David, Dolores said she appreciates him getting involved but knows she can handle things herself.

“You know, I appreciate that. We’re very close, and I know in my life, the people that are very close to me, I don’t mind them jumping in when they feel they need to,” she said. “But I got it, Frank.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 10 airs Wednesdays  at 8 p.m. on Bravo TV.
