Braunwyn Windham-Burke would love to return to The Real Housewives of Orange County for the series’ upcoming 15th season, but so far, she’s heard nothing from Bravo about the new season.
In a live chat with Kelly Dodd on Kelly’s Instagram Stories following last Thursday’s reunion, Braunwyn revealed when she and her co-stars are expecting to hear about their potential roles for season 15 before addressing Kelly’s on-camera persona and her current relationship with Shannon Beador.
“I would love to come back [for season 15] but no one knows anything until mid-January. No one gets contracts until mid-January,” Braunwyn explained to a fan during her and Kelly’s Q&A session.
“No one knows who’s getting fired. If someone is pushing the needle and making things work, they’re going to be on next season,” Kelly added.
Brraunwyn’s comments might explain why she recently shut down reports claiming that Vicki had been offered a full-time role for the upcoming season by Bravo.
One person known for “pushing the needle” is Kelly herself. However, when the topic of her aggressive on-screen behavior was mentioned by a fan, Braunwyn made it clear that what fans are seeing on RHOC isn’t what she and their friends experience off-camera.
“The Kelly you see on the show is not the Kelly we hang out with. [The cast] brings out the worst in [her],” Braunwyn noted.
As for Braunwyn’s current relationship with Shannon, who she hit it off with during production on RHOC season 14, Braunwyn admitted that she and Shannon haven’t actually seen one another since they attended Lisa Vanderpump’s Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala in Los Angeles, which was held over a month ago.
“[It’s] not that we’re not talking… We’ve just been busy,” Braunwyn explained.
As fans of RHOC well know, Shannon is known to keep her distance from new additions to the series, but she took a liking to Braunwyn right away and was even seen spending time with the mother of seven off-camera after filming on season 14 wrapped earlier this year.
