Thomas Ravenel has some major regrets when it comes to his behavior in the past years.
In a series of tweets, the former Southern Charm cast member opened up about his past decisions, revealed what it would take for him to consider returning to the Bravo reality series, and explained why he and his ex-girlfriend, Kathryn Dennis, recently reunited for a night out on the town.
“Would you walk away from your family’s Ravenel legacy? Fair question,” a fan asked Thomas on Monday.
“The only thing I’d fight for is my family,” he replied. “With respect to legacy, I want to be a good father, son and sibling. Regrettably, I’ve not been very adult like in many past decisions. I’ve lacked self discipline and have behaved as a child. I regret the pain I’ve caused them.”
As Southern Charm fans may know, Thomas shares two children with Kathryn, daughter Kensington, 5, and son Saint Julien, 4, and was accused of sexual assault by a number of women in recent years, which he’s denied.
As for his role on the show, Thomas has said on a number of occasions that he will not be returning but now claims there is a very, very slight possibility that he would go back.
“Are you sure you will never be on the show again??? I wouldn’t mind seeing once or twice!” one of his followers said.
“If I had complete editorial control and was paid over $1 million per episode, I’d consider it,” Thomas admitted.
While the Southern Charm cast did reportedly receive raises for season seven, the alleged salary boost is nowhere near $1 million. Instead, the rumored raise took the series’ stars from $400,000 to $480,000 for the new episodes.
Also on Twitter, Thomas addressed the reconciliation rumors Kathryn sparked when she shared a photo of the two of them at a James Bond party days ago.
“Ok…. there’s some photos going around of you and Kathryn – which, by the way, I’m so glad y’all can get along for the sake of the kids – anyway, it begs the question… are y’all back together?!?!?” a fan questioned.
“No, we’re doing some things together because it makes the kids very happy to see us getting along. And in this matter, our interests are perfectly aligned,” he explained.
Southern Charm season seven is expected to begin filming soon.
