After the former Real Housewives of Orange County star announced that she would not be a part of season 15 and proceeded to speak out against the Watch What Happens Live host, Andy offered an update on where the two of them stand today.
“She and I have been texting and going back and forth so I think we’re OK,” Andy told Us Weekly on Friday. “She and I have had every permutation of every conversation that you can imagine, so you know her feelings are her feelings.”
Earlier this week, after confirming her departure last Friday, Vicki slammed Andy for failing to have her back during the season 14 reunion and said she shouldn’t have stayed on RHOC for as long as she did.
“There is a lot you didn’t see, and my producers and I are very close. However, after being lied to and manipulated I lost my ‘sh*t’. Always 2 sides to every story. … The show was going down a very bad path. I’m free now to do what I want!” she added.
Following Vicki’s exit announcement, Andy weighed in with a post of his own.

I remember the first reunion I did with Vicki Gunvalson. Occasionally our eyes would meet as I grilled the other women, and she would wink at me optimistically and effervescently as both of her deep dimples shone. She kept winking at me Year after year, and it always made my heart smile. Vicki is an original, who remained her authentic self from her Family Van-freakout through her last reunion. It’s so hard to remain exactly who you are after being on television for so long, but Vicki is one of a kind. Thank you for everything, @vickigunvalson – what a ride. And it’s not over. (This pic is actually from the Season 3 Reunion, and I always really liked it..) ❤️ 🍊 #RHOC
Now that two of the wives have been let go, Andy is looking forward to the upcoming season.
“I always love bringing people back from the past, [but] the truth is right now I wanna focus on bringing the show into the future,” he told Us Weekly. “I think by taking two kind of stalwarts of out of the equation, now it’ll be interesting to see what direction it goes in. I think people from the past will be interesting and I would be down for that but right now I think it’s about kind of seeing how the show regenerates on its own.”
While Andy and Vicki experienced some tension after her exit from RHOC, he appeared to be on good terms with Tamra Judge after her exit from the show when they appeared together on Instagram Live on Monday night.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 15 will air later this year on Bravo.
