Stassi Schroeder took a major financial hit this week as she lost a number of sponsors and several jobs, including her role on Vanderpump Rules and her bridal column in Glamour magazine.
According to a series of new reports, Stassi “lost a lot of money” amid the racism scandal she and Kristen Doute are currently in and was completely caught off-guard when Bravo fired her. Meanwhile, following the firing of four cast members including Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni, a new report is sharing an update on Stassi and Kristen’s current relationship.
“[Stassi] lost a lot of money from losing sponsorships and paid opportunities,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly magazine on June 9.
Although Stassi and her fiancé, Beau Clark, have saved a ton, Stassi was not expecting to be fired.
“She is surprised and upset,” the source added.
She’s also said to be distraught, as are many other members of the Pump Rules cast.
“They know the show will never be the same,” an insider told E! News. “Stassi has been an emotional wreck. She’s having a very hard time and has no idea what to do. She feels completely lost and is very disgusted by her actions in the past. [She and Kristen] both feel awful about what happened.”
According to a second source, Stassi was upset about the racism scandal she found herself in earlier this month after Faith Stowers called her out for calling the cops on her with fake claims of drugging men and theft. That said, she felt that the controversy would blow over after she offered a public apology on Sunday.
“Stassi had, of course, been upset over the weekend but she’s weathered social media backlash before and was hoping if she apologized, it would pass,” the second source said. “[Stassi and Kristen are] in shock and crying.”
Although Stassi and Kristen have been in touch with one another since being fired, another source confirmed that their years-long feud has not yet ended.
“Stassi and Kristen have touched base about all of the recent news about them coming out,” a source shared with Us Weekly. “But their feud is not exactly over.”
