Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Suspended by Sponsor as Thousands Sign Petition to Have Jax Fired by Bravo on Vanderpump Rules for Alleged 'Racism and Misogyny'

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have been suspended from their partnership with DIFF Eyewear.

As fans of Vanderpump Rules call for Jax to see the same fate as Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni, all of whom were fired by Bravo last week due to claims of racist behavior, it is being reported that the eyewear brand chose to cut ties with the couple, at least temporarily.

According to an Instagram account called Cancel Jax Taylor, a fan questioned the brand about their partnership with Jax and Brittany after learning of their castmates’ firings.

“Have you cut ties with Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright?” the fan asked, via The Blast.

“Hi! Thank you so much for reaching out. Feedback like this is what keeps us learning and growing as a brand,” a rep for the company replied. “We are investigating the situation and have suspended our partnership. As we move forward, we will continue to strive for a more diverse community of partners that uphold the mission of making a positive difference in this world.”

“Again, thank you for reaching out,” they added. “Please feel free to continue to voice your concerns with us.”

Vanderpump Rules Jax Taylor Suspended by DIFF Eyewear

Jax and Brittany have been working with DIFF Eyewear for the past couple of years. In 2018, Brittany partnered with the brand on a designer line for charity.

In other Pump Rules news, viewers of the Bravo reality series have launched a petition on Change.org in the hopes of having Jax fired from the show.

“Bravo TV has taken the first steps in the right direction on holding the Vanderpump Rules cast accountable. However, they are continuing to employ and enable fellow cast members that are just as guilty as Stassi and Kristen- specifically, Jax Taylor,” a description of the petition read.

The petition then alleged that Jax has a “long, public history of racism, misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia.”

“He was just as involved in calling the police and making accusations against Faith Stowers, which is what got Stassi and Kristen fired. His former cast mate, Billie Lee, has accused him of refusing to film with her because she is [transgender]. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Enough is enough, Bravo. Jax has crossed the line over and over and he does not need to be given a public platform any longer,” the petition concluded.

As of June 15, the petition has been signed by nearly 2,400 fans, which is just shy of its 2,500 goal.
