Erika Jayne Opens Up About 'Struggling' in Quarantine and Admits She Felt "Lost," Says RHOBH Cast is "Coming Back Strong" After Hiatus

Erika Jayne is opening up about why she “struggled” amid quarantine during the ongoing pandemic.

During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member opened up about feeling lost after her run as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway was cut short earlier this year as she also spoke about the upcoming episodes of season 10.

“You know, it’s tough because Chicago came to a screeching halt. So I was kind of lost for a second,” Erika explained to host Andy Cohen.

As RHOBH fans well know, Erika fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams when she landed the role of Roxie last year. But after COVID-19 began to spread in New York City and around the world, her stint on Broadway came to an early end. Ultimately, Erika was left feeling less than inspired as she returned to her Pasadena home.

“I’ll be honest, it has not been this super-creative time for me,” Erika said of the time she’s spent in quarantine. “I’ve struggled a little bit, to be honest.”

Although Erika felt a bit stunted in her growth as an artist after the pandemic began, she informed Andy that she is feeling much better at the moment.

“I’ve had some songs come through. I’m due for some new music,” she explained. “It’s just a matter of me really committing and doing it. And I got to be in that right headspace and, to be honest, this hasn’t been easy for me.”

As for the coming episodes of RHOBH, Erika told viewers that the upcoming drama between the cast is “only gonna get better from here.”

“We’re coming back strong,” she added.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 returns to Bravo on July 8 at 9 p.m.
