Scheana Shay recently got a new tattoo, and in her latest vlog shared to her YouTube account, she showed it off.
Weeks after the Vanderpump Rules cast member tragically lost her first child with boyfriend Brock Davies due to a miscarriage, Scheana showed off a number of her already seen tattoos before debuting her most meaningful one yet to her many fans and followers.
“The last one that I got recently was to symbolize the baby we just lost,” Scheana explained of her new ink. “They said it was the size of a poppy seed and I really like poppy flowers. And I decided to get one right here to remember.”
As Brock zoomed into Scheana’s forearm, she told the camera, “I think it is probably my favorite one.”
During a June episode of her podcast series, Scheananigans, Scheana opened up to listeners about the moment she learned she had suffered a miscarriage during a doctor visit.
“My OB got me in early, they did an ultrasound and there was no heartbeat,” she shared as she fought back tears. “There was just nothing progressing, nothing going on inside. There were just parts that he could see were starting to form, and it just didn’t. So obviously, [that was] just devastating. We were so excited and then to just, like, be excited for a few weeks and then it’s just like gone so quickly. It’s still been a lot to process.”
Following the tragic news, Scheana received support from her former Pump Rules co-star, Stassi Schroeder, who is currently expecting her first child with fiancé Beau Clark.
“She sent me the sweetest, most heartfelt message just genuinely being there for me and that really meant a lot because she’s pregnant right now. I’m sure being pregnant, you can’t imagine losing it,” Scheana revealed.
Scheana has also received support from her other co-stars, including Kristen Doute, Ariana Madix, and Brittany Cartwright, and of course, her boyfriend, Brock, who told her on Instagram after the miscarriage that he has her back.
