After opening up about the item on the “Secrets Revealed” episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills earlier this week, revealing that she came across a photo of the ring on Diane Keaton‘s Instagram page in July 2019, Kyle said she is ready, willing, and able to buy the ring back from the psychic who has it.
“I was looking on Instagram and I saw Diane Keaton – she posted a picture of a psychic’s hands on the Third Street Promenade and they had my ring on her hand,” Kyle said on the show.
Immediately after seeing the image, Kyle enlisted one of her husband Mauricio Umansky‘s agents at his real estate firm, who was representing the actress.
“We reached out to one of our agents at The Agency who happens to represent Keaton and I said, ‘You need to find out what the situation is,’” Kyle recalled.
After the agent touch based with Diane, Kyle was given the psychic’s location as Diane also revealed she had taken a picture of the woman’s hands “because she thought the nails were so interesting.”
While Kyle proceeded to hire a private investor to locate the psychic, and the ring, which was given to her mom by her dad, their investigation went nowhere. Ultimately, she and her former RHOBH co-star, Teddi Mellencamp, began researching on their own.
“I want to know if she bought that from someone at a pawn shop, even if I have to buy it back from her, I’m happy to do that,” Kyle said.
In 2018, while she and Mauricio were vacationing with their family in Aspen, their home, which they’d just moved into, was burglarized and nearly $1 million worth of items were taken.
Following the burglary, Kyle revealed she was understandably devastated.
“It was just devastating,” Kyle told The Daily Dish. “It still really hurts a lot. My mom [Kathleen Richards] left me things she had collected her whole life, passed those onto me, and I wanted to pass those things on to my four daughters. Really, every gift I’ve ever been given, everything my mother left me, everything that I worked my butt off to buy for myself, all of it has been taken.”
Last night on her Instagram, Kyle shared an image of her mother’s ring she had taken prior to the robbery.
“My Mom’s ring in my drawer. I took this picture the night before I was burglarized,” she told her fans and followers. “I thought to myself, ‘If I ever was burglarized how would I remember exactly what I have?’ So I took a photo in case that ever happened. Talk about manifesting.”
