The Real Housewives of Dallas star Brandi Redmond is feeling a range of emotions today — something she describes as “thankful yet pain” as she mourns the sad passing of her mother-in-law, Jill Marie Redmond, who passed away in a car accident that her 9-yr-old daughter, Brinkley, who was also in the vehicle at the time, survived.
On Saturday, the 42-yr-old Bravo star took to her Instagram page to share the heartbreaking news as she paid a tribute to her husband Bryan Redmond’s mother.
“My husbands beautiful mom has gone on to be with our Savior and my sister in laws said it best…so I PLEASE ask that you keep my family in your prayers during this difficult time,” wrote Brandi alongside a photo of Jill and her three daughters – Lauren, Megan, and Kristen.
She added, “I ask that you lift my sweet Brinkley up as she continues to heal and that God protects her heart and eyes from this tragedy. I am so thankful for her life. This is probably the most thankful yet pain I’ve ever felt.”

Following Brandi’s heartfelt post, a number of her RHOD co-stars shared their condolences.
“There are no words ???? @brandiredmond you are all I am thinking about and praying about today. Please keep the Redmond family in your prayers, and love your loved ones tonight. We love you, Brandi,” wrote Kameron Westcott.
“Please pray for this beautiful family as they mourn the loss of Bryan’s mother Jill. Jill was funny, compassionate, full of life and loved family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Also, pray for sweet Brinkley who was in the car with her grandmother during the fatal accident. Your family is loved more than you know @brandiredmond ????,” shared Stephanie Hollman on Instagram.
D’Andra Simmons also commented on Brandi’s post, writing: “I’m praying for your family. I love you so much. May God continue to watch over you.”
The Real Housewives of Dallas season five recently wrapped up filming and according to Kary Brittingham, the season will likely begin airing on Bravo in January 2021.
