Meghan King Edmonds has just purchased her very first home as a single woman.

Just over a year after splitting from estranged husband Jim Edmonds, the former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member confirmed her exciting news with her fans and followers on Instagram before taking them inside of her new place for a home tour.

“I bought a house!” Meghan announced on November 29. “Closing was outside in a parking garage and I signed 748 papers on the hood of my car. It was a very Covid closing and certainly one to be remembered. It’s the first house I’ve owned all by myself!”

A short time after announcing her exciting news, the ex-RHOC star showed off the home.

“It’s totally manageable. It’s a good size. I have everything I need, not one thing extra not one thing short of anything I need. It’s perfect. I’m really trying to simplify my life,” Meghan said as she showed off her two front doors.

“It’s a finished basement. It’s a huge space down here,” Meghan said of her bottom floor.

Also in the basement, Meghan joked that because she does not yet have a wine cellar like she did in her other house, she has a make-shift “champagne shower.”

After showcasing her new space, Meghan said she still has a lot to do.

“I’m feeling really overwhelmed, really blessed, really happy. I work hard and I’m happy that I can provide a beautiful home for my children,” she shared.

Then, while answering questions from fans, Meghan confirmed that no one, aside from her family members and pet, will be living in the house.

“No one is moving into this home except for me, Girly Girl, Aspen, Hart, and Hayes. That’s it. That’s everyone who will be living in this house,” she confirmed.

Meghan then added that she is happy to be raising her children close to family.

“[It’s] closer to my parents because my parents are my world. My sister lives close by too, so they’re able to come over and help and be around me and my kids. It’s convenient and it’s healthy and my kids are growing up with this huge extended family and it’s a beautiful gift,” she gushed.
