Shannon Beador has finally collected the $137,000 she was owed by Alexis Bellino‘s ex-husband, Jim Bellino.
After a nasty court battle and a lien being placed on his home, Jim has finally coughed up the money he was ordered to pay the Real Housewives of Orange County star.
If fans recall, Shannon placed a lien on Jim’s $4 million San Juan Capistrano mansion in January 2020 after he neglected to pay the hefty amount of legal fees she acquired while fighting the defamation lawsuit he brought against her and former co-star Tamra Judge.
In 2018, Jim accused the pair of ruining his reputation when they appeared on Heather McDonald‘s Juicy Scoop podcast. The women claimed that his trampoline park had left customers paralyzed and they alluded to the fact that Jim was “going to jail.” As a result, he sued the duo for $1 million, but the judge subsequently dismissed the case against Shannon, and the businessman was ordered to pay her $137,000 legal fees.
While she waited for Jim to pay, Shannon placed a lien on his home so he could not sell the property before she collected what she was owed.
Fortunately, it seems Shannon’s battle with Jim is finally over according to court documents obtained by Radar Online. The documents show the lien has now been released, which means Jim has seemingly paid the mother-of-three in full.
Nevertheless, Shannon isn’t exactly finished with court just yet as she recently filed a lawsuit against her former divorce attorney. The reality star claims the attorney failed to represent her responsibly throughout her divorce negotiations with ex-husband David Beador.
Though she was awarded a $1.4 million lump-sum payment, along with $10,000 a month in support, Shannon believes the attorney agreed to a “low dollar” settlement at the last minute, and she expects the lawyer to pay up for his mistake.
As for Jim’s case against Tamra, it’s still ongoing and the pair are scheduled to face off in trial later this year.
