It’s official! Teddi Mellencamp is returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During the latest episode of her podcast, Teddi welcomed her friend and former co-star, Kyle Richards, who confirmed she dragged Teddi back to the Bravo reality series after her September 2020 firing.
“Yes, well obviously,” Kyle said of Teddi’s return to the show during the May 24 episode of the Teddi Tea Pod podcast, via Us Weekly. “I mean, I had to drag you, but you did.”
Although Teddi wouldn’t reveal any details in regard to what it was that she filmed, or how many times she found herself in front of the cameras, she didn’t deny her upcoming appearance.
“You’ll have to see,” Teddi teased of what is to come.
According to Kyle, Teddi didn’t initially give in to the idea of filming for season 11 of RHOBH. So, in order to get her back to the show, she had to do “some convincing” before Teddi ultimately agreed.
As fans of the series will recall, Teddi confirmed she was let go from her full-time position last fall on Instagram.
“I recently found out that my contract as a Housewife is not being renewed. Of course, I could give you the standard response of ‘Oh, we both came to the decision that it would be best …’ Nah, I’m not gonna do that. That’s not who I am,” Teddi said in a short video. “Of course, when I got the news I was sad. It feels like a breakup almost because you develop such strong relationships with the cast, with the crew, and you get to do incredible things that you probably never get to experience without, you know, the show.”
“That being said, I’m really looking forward to the future and being able to focus on my family, my friends, All In. I really feel like I have some exciting things ahead,” she added.
Following her exit announcement, Andy Cohen applauded Teddi’s honesty on his Radio Andy talk show.
“Teddi Mellencamp released what I thought was one of the most, no BS, ‘I’m leaving’ announcements on record,” he declared. “I thought that was really good. She’s an accountability coach. So she checked herself.”
In addition to her upcoming cameo on RHOBH, Teddi recently revealed plans for a new reality show.
“I’ve been developing a show based on All In,” Teddi told The Things in March. “I would love to do something that’s helping others and using the platform to help change lives.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
