Karen Huger is revealing where she stands with her Real Housewives of Potomac co-stars ahead of the season six premiere, and it seems she’s keeping one cast member at an arm’s length.

When it comes to throwing shade, Karen is one of the best there is. Therefore, it’s no surprise that she took the opportunity to shade frenemy Gizelle Bryant in a new interview as she dished on her relationships with her co-stars while revealing the surprising person she bonded with.

Though Gizelle recently claimed that she and Karen are in a good place now that filming has wrapped, the Grand Dame doesn’t seem to be so sure, so she’s keeping her eyes peeled.

“Listen, I’m all for people making authentic efforts to better themselves and to be a good friend. I’m all for that,” Karen told Entertainment Tonight on July 8. “I’m just very wise. So, that has to be proven to me. But I’m hopeful that it’s real this time and that we can get on to a better place. So I’m always open. But, honey, I got a third eye on Gizz. At all times.”

“‘We’re alright for now’ is what she actually said,” she continued, recounting what Gizelle said about their friendship in her own recent interview. “I’m on pause and on ready, honey, at all times for your ‘alright for now’ not to be genuine. Am I wasting my time with that? No. I had a ball with all of the other ladies. We grew fantastically close. I love each and every one of them.”

As for Karen’s relationship with Wendy Osefo (who the OG was “unimpressed” with last season), it has apparently grown tremendously now that the pair realize a certain someone was allegedly trying to keep them at odds.

“You know what? I will say that Wendy and I impressed each other because what we did as grown women is we took out the negative person who didn’t want us to get closer and we dared to take a look at one another and we grew from that,” she explained.

Furthermore, Karen said the cheating rumors surrounding Wendy’s husband, Eddie Osefo, also helped bring them close together, and Karen claims she had the professor’s back throughout the entire ordeal.

“I personally don’t get into spreading rumors,” she declared. “I’m friends with Wendy. I support she and her husband, Eddie. And Wendy and I, by the way, have grown — I’ll tease you with that — tremendously, this season. So the respect that I have for their marriage and family would be one that says, if Wendy came to me and said, ‘I had a problem,’ I had a problem. I’m not one that reads blogs and makes it TV. I got enough TV right here.”

Karen went on to gush about her “good friend” before further slamming the EveryHue Beauty founder.

“I think she does good at representing a woman, a Black woman in particular, that loves her husband,” she said of the way Wendy handled the cheating rumors. “And how dare you [Gizelle] keep coming for our husbands when you don’t have one for us to return serve to. I’m just saying, don’t touch anything that you don’t bring to the table. How about that?”

Though Karen didn’t have much to say about Robyn Dixon, she did offer an update on her relationship with Candiace Dillard Bassett following their falling out in season five. If fans recall from the reunion, Candiace accused the OG of attempting to get her in trouble with Bravo after her fight with former star Monique Samuels. Nevertheless, Karen teased that she and the former beauty queen have made a great deal of progress since last season.

“You have to stay tuned for Candiace’s and my growth and how we work through that, because there’s love between Candiace and I,” she revealed, adding, “I know we have people rooting for us.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac season six premieres Sunday night on Bravo at 8/7.
