Hannah Ferrier is still throwing shade at Captain Sandy Yawn following her season five firing.
The Below Deck Mediterranean alum took the opportunity to call Sandy out when the official Below Deck account posted a clip from the after-show on Facebook.
The clip was titled, “The Below Deck Med Crew on Bringing on Another Stew: ‘It Definitely Caused Some Anxiety and Worry.” And the former chief stew commented, “Hopefully you don’t need medication for that anxiety,” which was captured by Cocktails and Gossip on Instagram.
As fans well know, this comes after Hannah was fired when bosun Malia White turned her in for bringing an unregistered Valium and a CBD vape pen on board. Malia seemingly snapped a photo of the medication and vape pen, and sent the pic to Captain Sandy, who quickly axed Hannah for breaking maritime law.
As a result, fans were outraged by the firing as Sandy and Malia were met with a great deal of backlash following the shocking episode.
Nevertheless, though Sandy and Hannah had worked alongside one another for multiple seasons, the captain insisted she could no longer trust Hannah.
For Hannah’s part, she alleged that Sandy wanted her fired from the moment the captain stepped on the boat in season two, which resulted in a strange competitive vibe between the pair.
“I feel like Sandy and I never saw eye to eye. But she pointed out she doesn’t choose the crew or who comes back,” Hannah said on the Side Piece with Melissa Pfeister podcast earlier this year. “She wanted me out from day one.”
She added, “There was some weird competitive thing she had going on with me, which was kind of silly because it’s not two positions that should be competing. But I don’t think we were competing like in our work positions. I think she was competitive with me on the TV side of things.”
Following Hannah’s podcast appearance, Sandy clapped back by not only insulting the former stew, but also seemingly insulted the majority of those who work in the service industry.
“There’s no competition with Hannah. I’m a captain and she waits tables,” she snarked to Showbiz Cheat Sheet in April.. “There’s no equal there professionally. I think that’s the part that I think really disturbs her, is her ego. It’s sad. I feel for her, this girl’s still hanging onto that sh*t I haven’t thought about until you asked me about it.”
Below Deck Mediterranean season six airs Monday nights on Bravo at 9/8c.
