Sutton Stracke and Erika Jayne faced off during Wednesday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And, after the episode aired, Sutton looked back on their heated spat.
In addition to slamming her co-star for the threats she made against her during her “targeted” attack, Sutton pointed out that none of her other cast mates had her back and suggested they weren’t brave enough to take on Erika amid her legal scandal.
“Let’s see, basically I get hissed at and threatened. That kind of anger, and it wasn’t loud, it’s not that she was yelling. It was just so intense and targeted,” Sutton recalled during the September 8 episode of the RHOBH: After Show. “She says, ‘Well all of this is over, I’m coming after you.’ Like, are you okay?”
According to Sutton, Erika said something horrible to her that the cameras didn’t capture. And, because it was so bad, she refused to share what it was.
“Then she says something under her breath that I’m not going to repeat ever. It was even worse. It was not good. It was not pretty. It did not look good on her at all,” Sutton explained. “I was shocked that she would even say those things to me because I haven’t done anything wrong. I’ve only asked questions about a newspaper article that we were all talking about.”
Although Sutton admitted that it “struck a nerve” with Erika when she called her a liar, she added that “calling someone a liar doesn’t deserve threats.”
Kyle Richards also said on the RHOBH: After Show that she was put off by Erika’s threats against Sutton, even though she “didn’t take them literally” and felt they were more of a “warning.”
“I was a little frustrated that Erika said that to Sutton because I was thinking, ‘Wait a minute. You’re getting upset with Sutton. But that’s exactly what she’s been saying her concerns have been.’ So now you’re actually giving validity to those concerns by saying something like that,” Kyle noted. “That kind of made everybody go, ‘Wait, what?’”
While certain cast members may not have liked Erika’s antics towards Sutton, Sutton was alone in her fight.
“No one spoke up for me. No one said, ‘Don’t speak to her like that.’ Not one person… Nobody knew what to do,” she said, looking back.
In response to Sutton’s statements against the cast, Garcelle Beauvais suggested that their co-stars didn’t have Sutton’s back because they were in shock.
“I think everybody was shocked at how quickly it escalated to something so serious. It was shocking, it really was,” she stated.
Meanwhile, Sutton suggested it wasn’t shock, but rather a lack of bravery that silenced her cast mates.
“Everybody else was kind of a little afraid because you don’t want to be on the receiving end. So I do think you’ve gotta be real brave to stand up to that and I don’t think I saw a lot of bravado that night,” she shared.
