James Kennedy took aim at his former fiancée, Raquel Leviss, after she shared a photo of herself posing with a penis straw on Tuesday night and said it was “penis straws [for the win].”
Following the posting of Raquel’s racy pic, which was taken at her un-engagement party, the Vanderpump Rules star took to the comments section of a fan page that reshared the image and unloaded his thoughts in a message about dodging a bullet.
“Drinking every night and sucking on penis straws… looks like I’m the one that truly ‘dodged the bullet’ … And let’s not get it twisted it’s always MY year,” James wrote in his now-deleted comment.
Following the sharing of Raquel’s post on Tuesday, she was met with criticism from fans who felt she was being a bit insensitive to her and James’ recent split. In fact, one person said it was “kinda mean” for her to be celebrating the end of their five-year relationship.
“I get moving on but why make a skeptical out of it? Some things can stay private,” the person had stated.
“It actually is the furthest thing from private… There’s no way in hell I’m going to watch this emotional reunion without my closest friends,” Raquel fired back, then noting that James was recently spotted with another woman.
“And after seeing how quickly James has moved on, I think I’m allowed the freedom to act on whatever my heart desires. I’m no longer taking into account other people’s concerns before my own,” she added.
Earlier this week, while enjoying time with friends in Las Vegas, James shared an Instagram Story in which he was seen holding hands with a dark-haired woman in a dark top and white skirt.
Hours later, Raquel surfaced on her own Instagram Story, where she said she was having a “mental breakdown” after learning her therapist couldn’t make their appointment.
“It definitely is one of the most emotional days of my life,” Raquel explained, giving a nod to the start of the reunion.
“I am on the verge of panic and rage. Even though it doesn’t look like I am, I am,” she added.
Vanderpump Rules season nine came to an end on Wednesday night with the second installment of the two-part reunion.
No word yet on whether or not the series will return for season 10.
