Vicki Gunvalson‘s son wasn’t happy to learn that the Real Housewives of Orange County alum would be hosting a party celebrating her breakup from ex-fiancé Steve Lodge at a strip club in Las Vegas.
After coming across a flyer Vicki, 59, shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, on which she disabled her comments, Michael Wolfsmith took to his Instagram Story, where he reacted to the shocking news and reminded Vicki of how she reacted to him celebrating his 18th birthday at a strip club.
“I got torn a new [butt] when I went to a strip club on my 18th bday… Now we throwin parties at the t-tty bar… Hustlers??” he asked, along with two trash can emoji.
Then, after learning what he thought was a “t-tty bar” was actually a male strip club, known as Kings of Hustler Male Revue, he shared a few additional emojis, including two men signaling “no,” and, of course, the eggplant emoji.
“I am so excited for this party! If you want to join me call the club directly at (888)-592-3534 to make your reservations today!!” Vicki wrote in her January 27 announcement of the February 5 event in Las Vegas.
After the event was officially announced earlier this month, an insider told Page Six the RHOC alum would be paid somewhere “in the 10s of thousands” for participating in the event.
“When Vicki was first approached about doing the appearance, she was still healing from her breakup with Steve,” a source told the outlet on January 12. “She was also super upset about his engagement — but not anymore. [She is now] ready to put herself out there again. She’s happily single and can’t wait to showcase her freedom.”
“She’s super excited for the appearance,” the insider added.
Vicki and Steve’s relationship came to an end in September 2021. Just months later, adding to the heartbreak of the split, Steve, 53, announced he is engaged to 37-year-old Janis Carlson.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
