Lala Kent answered a couple of questions from fans on her Instagram Story earlier this week.
In addition to answering a question about how she stays in shape and another about her potential plans to return home to Salt Lake City, the Vanderpump Rules cast member shared what she’s learned over the course of her past several seasons with Bravo.
“What was your biggest lesson from [Vanderpump Rules] so far?” a fan asked on February 17.
“Love yourself and forgive yourself,” Lala replied. “This world will eat you alive if you let it. Your thoughts are important and you should be heard. The show taught me to be confident in who I am and my evolution.”
Amid her Q&A with fans, the longtime Pump Rules cast member posted a throwback video of herself changing her “Rand” tattoo, which she got in honor of her former fiancé, Randall Emmett, to read “brand new.” And, in the caption, she confirmed she made the change on October 20, 2021.
When a second fan wondered what kind of diet Lala follows to “look so good,” she admitted that good genes have worked in her benefit.
“I do have to attribute a lot to genetics. My brothers and I are naturally on the thinner side,” she explained.
That said, Lala still has to do her best to stay active and eat healthy.
“‘Skinny flab’ is a real thing, and if I don’t workout or eat consciously, I get that way,” she shared. “Moderation is key. I don’t like ‘diets.’ Enjoy your life. Eat amazing tasty food. Have a piece of cake, not the whole cake. Have a slice of pizza, not the whole pizza. Every body is beautiful, and if you feel confident and happy, that is all that matters.”
Another person wanted to know if Lala would ever return to her hometown in Utah.
“Would you ever consider coming back to [Salt Lake City]?” they asked.
“My life is in LA, but I am planning on getting a place in Utah soon,” Lala replied.
No word yet on a 10th season of Vanderpump Rules.
