Shannon Beador is shooting down speculation into potential jealousy over both Gina Kirschenheiter‘s skincare line, and her friendship with Heather Dubrow.
Following Wednesday’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange Country, which featured plenty of chatter about Gina’s beauty venture, as well as her upcoming trip to New York with Heather, Shannon denied being jealous and insisted that she was fully supportive of her castmate.
“It’s so outrageous,” Shannon said of the allegations on the February 17 episode of the RHOC: After Show. “I [am] literally running on empty because I have a company that I’m running… [and] because my kids are living with me all the time again. I don’t have time to be jealous. Had I been asked [to go to NY], I would have had to decline because I have too much on my plate.”
“I’m not jealous of any part of Gina. I’m going to stick with what I have because I’m pretty happy with it,” Shannon insisted. “I’ve been nothing but supportive of her.”
Following the announcement of Gina’s skincare line, Heather said she thought the venture was “amazing,” just as she did when Shannon started her own health business.
“I love seeing women take control of their livelihood and their pocketbooks and their future. So I was incredibly supportive and proud,” Heather explained.
As for Gina, she noticed that Shannon didn’t seem to be as excited for her as the rest of the ladies.
“She’ll say she’s supportive and she wants the best for me but her physical demeanor and her lack of like, wanting to engage or ask questions at all, makes me feel like she just isn’t that interested in it and I don’t know where that comes from,” Gina admitted. “I know she’s also trying to launch her business as well. I think she’s doing great and I’ve been supportive of her so I don’t really know where it’s coming from but I notice it.”
Emily Simpson also noticed it and questioned how good a friend Shannon is to the other women.
“I don’t think Shannon is that friend that’s like your cheerleader that’s going to hype you up and tell you you’re great and really be involved,” Emily explained. “I’ve never felt Shannon was that friend that gets interested in your own life. She’s always been more interested in what’s going on in her own and talking about herself. But not as much as like delving into other people’s lives or what’s going on with them.”
