RHOC's Shannon Beador on Heather Making Gina Feud About Herself and Gina's "Insanely Cruel" Comment, Plus Claims She's Held to a "Different Standard"

Shannon Beador wants Heather Dubrow to know “it’s not always” about her.

After the two of them were involved in a sit-down on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon expressed frustration with her co-star for making her heated drama with Gina Kirschenheiter about herself and admitted to feeling as if she’s held to a different standard than her castmates.

“She sits me down and she says, ‘Well, you did call me pretentious years ago. And I looked at her, going, ‘Okay, wait a minute,'” Shannon recalled on the March 23 episode of the RHOC: After Show. “I just had an issue with Gina and now she wants to make some issue with me and make it about her. I was like, ‘Wait, are you talking about from years ago?’ And she’s like, ‘Yeah,’ and I just said, ‘I gotta go.’”

But Heather told a very different account of their conversation.

“We were talking and at one point she got up and Shannon said, ‘You can’t do this Heather. I’m not doing this. I’m leaving.’ And I go, ‘I’m not doing anything. Sit down. We’re having a conversation. You’re misreading my intentions here. Let’s just talk about it,'” she explained.

According to Heather, she and Shannon got through their issue and shared a hug, which made her “very proud.”

“I was very proud of the fact that we could sit down like adults have the conversation and move on from it instead of letting it fester and annoy each other. I thought it was good,“ she explained.

However, in Shannon’s mind, she couldn’t get over the fact that Heather had made her feud with Gina and the ongoing suggestion that she’s jealous of Gina about herself.

“Get over yourself, Heather. It’s not always about you,” Shannon advised. “I’m reeling right now. Someone just said they feel sorry for my life … I’m sorry, Heather, that you’re not at the top of my priority list. It [was] kind of outrageous.

During another segment of the RHOC: After Show, Shannon looked back on her and Gina’s conversation, saying that she went up to Gina in an effort to initiate a conversation and “resolve things.”

“I had every intention of letting her know that I’m not jealous and there’s certain things I’ve heard that she’s said about me,” Shannon noted. “I don’t have a sad life [and] that’s an insanely cruel thing to say to any person. It’s off the chart… It’s just a freaking rude comment.”

“[But] when I sit down and talk to her she gets very angry, like she’ll be shaking every time,” Shannon continued.

Looking back at her angry response to Gina, Shannon took note of what she believes are double standards amongst the group.

“When Shannon Beador reacts and says something, I’m held to such a different standard than other people,” she claimed. “People can say, ‘F-ck you. F-ck you. F-ck you.’ But if I say, ‘F-ck you’ one time, I gotta answer to people. And that’s fine. I had every intention of walking out of that conversation, saying, ‘We’re good.'”

In her own segment of the series, Gina said she always feels like she’s on the defensive with Shannon, noting that she can’t just sit down with her and talk about what’s going on.

“It’s like, very clear that Shannon has spent one to five days coming up with all the reasons why I suck and I wounded her and I wronged her and she has responses to everything and she’s made a chart at home as to how she’s going to conquer this conversation,” Gina shared. “It’s like you’re defeated before you even sit down because she’s not willing to hear your side of anything … She’s too busy thinking about her next excuse for why she did what she did and why I’m wrong to feel the way I feel.”

“She’s clearly not listening. She’s just waiting for you to stop talking so she can get in there,” Emily Simpson agreed.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
