Erika Jayne stepped out in West Hollywood on Friday, where she enjoyed some pampering just days after admitting she was unable to pay off her $2.2 million tax debt.

As she faces numerous lawsuits pertaining to the crimes her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi, allegedly committed against former clients to sustain their luxurious lifestyle, the 50-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member paid a visit to the Élite Aesthetics Wellness Spa.

According to a report from Radar Online, Erika was joined on the outing by her assistant and appeared to be down in the dumps with no makeup on and a casual outfit, which included a black and white sweater with oversized sunglasses.

The outing came on the heels of a declaration filing by Erika in which she explained why she was unable to get back in good standings with the IRS.

“My only assets are my personal belongings (which include jewelry) and my income from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills television program. I also have miscellaneous sponsorship income related to appearances or endorsement of products,” she shared, noting that she was informed by her business manager in May 2022 that she owed $2,226,985.77 in taxes for the 2019 tax year.

“[I’m] in the midst of trying to figure out the basis of this tax bill with the assistance of my business manager, who is also an accountant,” she continued. “I do not have the ability to pay the FTB tax bill. I also do not know if the FTB is claiming any sort of lien on my assets.”

In response to the photos of Erika at the spa, attorney Ronald Richards, who once worked on one of Thomas’ bankruptcy cases, accused the RHOBH cast member of having “no shame.”

“This is what happens when there is no accountability [and] someone else is paying your legal bills. Hard to claim tax poverty when the glam $$$ is at hypersonic!” he wrote on June 18.

Also on Twitter, Ronald revealed that the belongings currently located at Erika and Thomas’ former marital residence, which is on the market for $7.9 million and nearing foreclosure, would soon be auctioned off.

“Breaking: Thomas Girardi’s trustee is moving to auction off all of his and [Erika Jayne]’s personal property at the former residence. The auction will be on 9/21/22. This is because he knows that foreclosure is near and he has to get rid of the contents,” Ronald revealed, along with the trustee’s court documents.

Despite being accused of acting alongside Thomas in his misdeeds, Erika has maintained her innocence.
