Luis Ruelas has offered a statement in regard to the absences of Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga at his and Teresa Giudice‘s recent wedding.
While also addressing a recent rumor that suggested he and his Real Housewives of New Jersey star wife actually sent the Gorgas a bill for their meals, which Jennifer Aydin labeled “fake news” on Monday, Luis shared his true thoughts about the couple missing their big day as Teresa posted a new video from their ceremony.
“We would never in a million years ask for money from Joe and Melissa – we are not petty,” Luis wrote, as captured by All About the Real Housewives on Instagram.
He also added, perhaps surprisingly (due to the rumors of a blowout between him and Joe), “Joe and Melissa were missed.”
As rumors continue to swirl in regard to what went down at the RHONJ season 13 finale taping, which is reportedly what prompted the Gorgas to miss the event, Teresa continues to share photos and videos from her wedding, the latest of which included a shoutout to her new hubby and her “amazing team,” who worked “tirelessly” to make their dream wedding happen.
“Babe, I love you more than I could ever express. I’m so blessed that you, your boys, and your amazing family have come in to my life and love me [and] my girls unconditionally,” Teresa wrote in the caption of an August 9 post. “Thank you to all of our loved ones who came to celebrate with us — our love bubble is only bigger and stronger with all of your support… It was more than we imagined and we are so very grateful for all of you.”
Also on Instagram, All About the Real Housewives shared a clip of guest Loni Love, who was seen discussing Joe and Melissa’s absence at the wedding on an episode of E! News’ The Daily Pop earlier this week.
“Her brother and her sister-in-law Melissa did not come. But you know what? Didn’t nobody missed them,” she stated, seemingly refuting Luis’ own statement. “They get wild!”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 is expected to begin airing later this year or early next year and will reportedly be followed by Teresa and Luis’ four-episode wedding special.
