O.C. Court Officer Denies David Beador's Petition for Divorce Was Withdrawn After Lesley Suggests RHOC Alum Changed Mind About Split

Lesley Beador claimed her husband, David Beador, withdrew his petition for divorce days ago, following his initial filing on September 15, but did he really?

Following the sharing of an Instagram Story, in which Lesley, 38, told followers that David, 57, the former husband of Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador, “filed a request for dismissal a few days ago,” a public information officer tells a much different story.

Speaking to Page Six on September 21, the officer for the Superior Court in Orange County, California, said that there have not been any requests to dismiss David’s divorce filing against Lesley “at this time.”

The officer also confirmed that there were no pending requests in the queue.

On her Instagram Story on Wednesday, Lesley wrote, “My husband filed a request for dismissal a few days ago. Now back to your regular programming.” But when Page Six reached out to both her and David for comment, neither party responded.

In his divorce filing on September 15, David cited irreconcilable differences as the reason he and Lesley split after just 23 months of marriage, and he sought joint legal and physical custody of their daughter.

As RHOC fans may recall, David and Lesley got married in Mexico in October 2020 and welcomed their only child, 19-month-old Anna, months later in February 2021.

David also shares three daughters, including 21-year-old Sophie and 18-year-old twin daughters Stella and Adeline, with ex-wife Shannon.

PEOPLE also noted that online court records do not yet reflect any potential change in David’s plan to divorce Lesley. However, according to a court representative they spoke to on Wednesday, there’s no specific timeline for when non-urgent requests are processed.

The outlet also shared that David and Lesley, who were known to split their time between Orange County and Park City, Utah, have a prenuptial agreement in place for the potentially impending split of their assets.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
