Garcelle Beauvais offered a couple of very telling words when asked about the recent taping of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion.
Before sharing her hopes for season 13 and dishing on her dreams of a nighttime talk show, Garcelle said that when it came to filming the reunion weeks ago, the event was not only “really intense” but also quite “uncomfortable” at times.
“I can tell you that it was definitely intense. There were a lot of uncomfortable moments, and at the end, we didn’t even take a group photo. We didn’t say goodbye to one another,” Garcelle revealed during a September 27 appearance on Access Hollywood‘s Housewives Nightcap.
Although Garcelle and Sutton Stracke went out to dinner with their glam teams after the taping, the rest of the cast went their “separate ways.”
“It was really, really interesting because normally we do a group shot of something fabulous… And we didn’t even do that for our finale either. So it’s been a really intense season,” Garcelle explained.
Moving forward, Garcelle hopes she and her castmates can have “more fun” amid season 13.
“I want us to have more fun and be silly and talk about each other’s ugly leather pants,” she joked. “Let’s keep it light. Let’s move on. Let’s just have fun. I think the audience also wants to see us have fun and be glamorous and not be so heavy and dark.”
In addition to her presumed return for season 13 of RHOBH, Garcelle said she has “a couple of things” in the works that she can’t yet talk about and is eyeing a spot on late-night television.
“I’m really interested in nighttime. I don’t understand why there isn’t that many women in nighttime. I mean, we’re sexy. We’re cool. We’re watching. I would absolutely jump on that,” she confirmed. “It’s my favorite platform of all the things that I do, is being a talk show host.”
As for what she forgot to tell Julia Roberts over the weekend when the actress offered to set her up at an event in Washington, D.C., Garcelle admitted that she forgot Julia had connections with Brad Pitt.
“It was such an out-of-body experience that I forgot to connect her and Brad Pitt together. I should’ve thought myself and Brad Pitt because she said, ‘I’m gonna find you a boyfriend,’” Garcelle explained.
Also during the interview, after refusing to confirm or deny whether or not Sutton was still dating boyfriend Sanjit Das, who fans saw on season 12, Garcelle admitted she’s quite excited to attend BravoCon 2022.
“I’ve never been. I’m looking forward to it. I heard it’s crazy and it’ll be fun,” she said.
